Update: Seismic activity on July 30 – 5.1 magnitude earthquake near Vilyuchinsk, Russia registered

A 5.1 magnitude quake was recorded close to Vilyuchinsk Wednesday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor jolted the area at 11:26 UTC (22:26 local time). It occurred at a depth of 10 km with the epicenter situated about 173 km south-southeast of Vilyuchinsk.
