Earthquake shakes area near Ruteng, Indonesia: 5.1 magnitude recorded on Aug. 15

A 5.1 magnitude quake occurred close to Ruteng on Saturday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor, which jolted the region at 10:31 UTC (18:31 local time), was centered roughly 39 km north-northwest of Ruteng. It occurred at a depth of 10 km.
