LIMARÍ PROVINCE, Coquimbo — A 6.2 magnitude quake was registered near Ovalle Thursday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
It was reported that a tremor struck the region at 13:34 UTC (10:34 local time). The epicenter was located roughly 29 km southwest of Ovalle, at a depth of 40 km.
