Update: Earthquake of 5.8 magnitude detected close to Trenggalek, Indonesia on Feb. 5

TRENGGALEK REGENCY, East Java — Thursday morning, a 5.8 magnitude quake was reported near Trenggalek, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

It was reported that a tremor shook the region at 18:06 UTC (01:06 local time). The epicenter was located about 103 km south-southwest of Trenggalek, at a depth of 40 km.
