CHUPACA PROVINCE, Junin — A 5.5 magnitude quake struck near Chambara on Sunday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor jolted at 02:24 UTC (21:24 local time), with its epicenter roughly 5 km south of Chambara and a depth of 10 km.
