KERMANSHAH, Kermanshah Province — A 5.2 magnitude quake occurred near Javānrūd on Monday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor shook the area at 03:48 UTC (07:18 local time). It occurred at a depth of 10 km with the epicenter approximately 27 km south of Javānrūd.
