Thursday morning, a 5.0 magnitude quake was detected close to Dinagat, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

At 18:15 UTC (02:15 local time), the region was struck by a tremor. The earthquake jolted at a depth of 163 km, with its epicenter roughly 0 km north-northeast of Dinagat.
