Update: Earthquake measuring 5.2 shakes area near Chowki Jamali, Pakistan on Feb. 13

KHUZDAR, Balochistan — A 5.2 magnitude quake was detected close to Chowki Jamali on Friday around midday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor jolted at 06:30 UTC (11:30 local time), with its epicenter located about 72 km west-northwest of Chowki Jamali and a depth of 10 km. Seismologists first reported it as a 5.5 event, but later downgraded it to 5.2.
