Update: April 26 – 5.0 magnitude earthquake recorded near Noda, Japan

A 5.0 magnitude quake occurred close to Noda on Sunday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

A tremor shook the area at 16:57 UTC (02:57 local time). The earthquake’s epicenter was approximately 77 km east of Noda and occurred at a depth of 35 km.
