A 5.8 magnitude quake occurred close to Kirakira on Saturday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor hit the area at 15:03 UTC (02:03 local time). It occurred at a depth of 59 km with the epicenter approximately 46 km west-southwest of Kirakira.
