Update: Seismic activity on April 14 – 5.4 magnitude earthquake near Pagan region, Northern Mariana Islands recorded

A 5.4 magnitude quake occurred close to Pagan region on Tuesday around midday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor jolted at 03:04 UTC (13:04 local time), with its epicenter of Pagan region and a depth of 212 km. Seismologists first reported it as a 5.5 event, but later downgraded it to 5.4.
