Update: Earthquake measuring 5.1 hits area near Tatsugō, Japan on July 2

Wednesday afternoon, a 5.1 magnitude quake was registered near Tatsugō, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor jolted at 05:25 UTC (14:25 local time), with its epicenter located approximately 55 km north of Tatsugō and a depth of 10 km.
