Update: 5.2 magnitude earthquake hits near Tatsugō, Japan on July 2

A 5.2 magnitude quake was detected near Tatsugō Wednesday afternoon, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The tremor shook at 05:51 UTC (14:51 local time), with its epicenter located roughly 95 km north-northwest of Tatsugō and a depth of 10 km.
