LIFOU, Loyalty Islands Province — A 5.0 magnitude quake occurred southeast of the Loyalty Islands on Sunday afternoon, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The tremor shook at 07:30 UTC (18:30 local time), with its epicenter southeast of the Loyalty Islands of southeast of the Loyalty Islands and a depth of 99 km.
