At midday on Tuesday, a 5.4 magnitude quake was reported close to Tristan da Cunha region, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

A tremor shook the area at 13:46 UTC (12:46 local time). The earthquake’s epicenter was situated of Tristan da Cunha region and occurred at a depth of 10 km. Seismologists first reported it as a 5.0 event, but later upgraded it to 5.4.
