Update: Earthquake of 5.1 magnitude registered close to Pacocha, Peru on May 29

PROVINCE OF ILO, Moquegua — A 5.1 magnitude quake occurred near Pacocha at midnight on Friday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor hit the area at 05:32 UTC (00:32 local time). It occurred at a depth of 10 km with the epicenter approximately 87 km south of Pacocha.
