A 5.2 magnitude quake struck near Gorontalo on Thursday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

At 23:28 UTC (07:28 local time), a tremor shook the region at a depth of 134 km, with its epicenter roughly 72 km south of Gorontalo.
