Update: Earthquake hits region close to Modisi, Indonesia on June 6 – 5.2 magnitude reported

A 5.2 magnitude quake struck close to Modisi on Saturday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

A tremor jolted the area at 18:56 UTC (02:56 local time). The earthquake’s epicenter was roughly 107 km southeast of Modisi and occurred at a depth of 35 km.
