UST-KAMCHATSKY DISTRICT, Kamchatka Krai — the U.S. Geological Survey reported that a 5.2 magnitude quake hit near Ust’-Kamchatsk Staryy around midday Friday.

At 23:22 UTC (11:22 local time), the region was shaken by a tremor. The earthquake jolted at a depth of 33 km, with its epicenter approximately 53 km east-northeast of Ust’-Kamchatsk Staryy.
