On Wednesday at 3:09 p.m. an updated heat advisory was released by the National Weather Service in effect until 7 p.m. The advisory is for Madison, Burleson, Brazos, Washington and Grimes counties.
“Heat index values up to 108 degrees possible,” comments the NWS. “Hot temperatures early in the season have a greater potential to cause heat illness.”
“Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses,” comments the NWS.
