Update: 5.3 magnitude earthquake jolts close to Tatsugō, Japan on Oct. 7

Tuesday morning, a 5.3 magnitude quake was recorded close to Tatsugō, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor hit at 21:38 UTC (06:38 local time), with its epicenter situated roughly 88 km north-northwest of Tatsugō and a depth of 10 km.
