Earthquake jolts area near Ruteng, Indonesia: 5.0 magnitude recorded on Oct. 4

A 5.0 magnitude quake occurred near Ruteng on Sunday afternoon, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The tremor shook the region at 10:13 UTC (18:13 local time). It occurred at a depth of 10 km with the epicenter approximately 37 km north of Ruteng.
