Earthquake of magnitude 5.0 registered close to Quepos, Costa Rica on Sept. 10

A 5.0 magnitude quake occurred close to Quepos on Thursday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

A tremor rattled the area at 08:26 UTC (02:26 local time). The earthquake’s epicenter was about 45 km south-southeast of Quepos and occurred at a depth of 10 km.
