Earthquake measuring 5.2 strikes area near Vilyuchinsk, Russia on July 30

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 5.2 magnitude quake occurred near Vilyuchinsk at midday on Wednesday.

It was reported that a tremor jolted the region at 00:41 UTC (11:41 local time). The epicenter was located about 167 km south-southeast of Vilyuchinsk, at a depth of 35 km.
