Seismic activity on July 30: Earthquake near Vilyuchinsk, Russia detected – magnitude 5.2

A 5.2 magnitude quake was recorded close to Vilyuchinsk on Wednesday around midday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

It was reported that a tremor hit the region at 00:08 UTC (11:08 local time). The epicenter was located approximately 154 km south-southeast of Vilyuchinsk, at a depth of 35 km.
