Update: Seismic activity on Dec. 23 – 5.1 magnitude earthquake near Türkmenbaşy, Turkmenistan recorded

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 5.1 magnitude quake occurred close to Türkmenbaşy Tuesday morning.

The tremor jolted at 04:32 UTC (07:32 local time), with its epicenter situated about 122 km northwest of Türkmenbaşy and a depth of 49 km.
