PETIT-CANAL, Grande-Terre — Monday morning, a 5.0 magnitude quake was recorded near Anse-Bertrand, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

It was reported that a tremor hit the region at 09:16 UTC (05:16 local time). The epicenter was situated about 29 km northeast of Anse-Bertrand, at a depth of 59 km.
