A 5.3 magnitude quake occurred near Mid-Atlantic Ridge on Saturday around midnight, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor hit the area at 01:34 UTC (00:34 local time). It occurred at a depth of 10 km with the epicenter south of Mid-Atlantic Ridge.
