A 5.0 magnitude quake rattled near Owen Fracture Zone region on Thursday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The USGS reported a tremor in the region at 14:11 UTC (18:11 local time). The epicenter was of Owen Fracture Zone region, at a depth of 10 km. Seismologists first reported it as a 5.1 event, but later downgraded it to 5.0.
