Earthquake of magnitude 5.0 recorded near Bitung, Indonesia on Oct. 10

A 5.0 magnitude quake occurred close to Bitung on Saturday afternoon, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The tremor, which hit the area at 05:32 UTC (14:32 local time), was centered roughly 141 km east of Bitung. It occurred at a depth of 10 km.
