A 5.0 magnitude quake shook close to Ruteng on Friday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

At 20:21 UTC (04:21 local time), a tremor jolted the region at a depth of 10 km, with its epicenter about 77 km north-northeast of Ruteng. Seismologists first reported it as a 4.9 event, but later upgraded it to 5.0.
