Earthquake jolts area near Port-Olry, Vanuatu: 5.2 magnitude reported on Sept. 13

A 5.2 magnitude quake shook near Port-Olry on Sunday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor, which hit the region at 07:19 UTC (18:19 local time), was centered approximately 43 km east-southeast of Port-Olry. It occurred at a depth of 135 km.

On Sep. 13, one more magnitude 4.7 tremor was detected in the area, also close to Port-Olry.
