Update: Seismic activity on May 16 – 6.0 magnitude earthquake close to Codrington, Antigua and Barbuda recorded

A 6.0 magnitude quake rocked near Codrington on Saturday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

At 14:50 UTC (10:50 local time), a tremor struck the region at a depth of 47 km, with its epicenter approximately 61 km east-southeast of Codrington. The magnitude was originally reported as 6.1 but later downgraded to 6.0.
