Update: Earthquake shakes region near Tual, Indonesia on May 10 – 5.2 magnitude reported

A 5.2 magnitude quake occurred near Tual on Sunday around midday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor jolted at 02:42 UTC (11:42 local time), with its epicenter approximately 180 km south-southwest of Tual and a depth of 10 km. Seismologists first reported it as a 5.0 event, but later upgraded it to 5.2.
