ARAUCO PROVINCE, Bio Bio — A 5.5 magnitude quake occurred near Cañete on Sunday night, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
The tremor hit at 02:34 UTC (22:34 local time), with its epicenter about 15 km east-northeast of Cañete and a depth of 35 km.
