MAISI, Guantanamo — A 5.5 magnitude quake was recorded near Maisí Sunday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The tremor jolted at 12:00 UTC (07:00 local time), with its epicenter located roughly 43 km south-southwest of Maisí and a depth of 10 km.
