According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 5.0 magnitude quake occurred near central East Pacific Rise Thursday morning.

A tremor struck the area at 10:54 UTC (03:54 local time). The earthquake’s epicenter was located of central East Pacific Rise and occurred at a depth of 10 km.
