Update: Earthquake measuring 5.7 hits area near Vilyuchinsk, Russia on July 29

Tuesday morning, a 5.7 magnitude quake was reported close to Vilyuchinsk, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor, which struck the region at 23:38 UTC (10:38 local time), was centered about 103 km southeast of Vilyuchinsk. It occurred at a depth of 35 km.
