Update: Earthquake of 6.0 magnitude registered near Nena, Philippines on May 4

EASTERN SAMAR, Eastern Visayas — A 6.0 magnitude quake occurred near Nena on Monday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor hit at 06:09 UTC (14:09 local time), with its epicenter approximately 8 km west-southwest of Nena and a depth of 43 km.
