The U.S. Geological Survey reported that a 5.1 magnitude quake occurred near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Tuesday morning.

It was reported that a tremor jolted the region at 21:44 UTC (08:44 local time). The epicenter was situated approximately 151 km southeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, at a depth of 10 km.
