A 5.0 magnitude quake occurred near Sarangani on Monday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

At 00:53 UTC (08:53 local time), a tremor jolted the region at a depth of 37 km, with its epicenter approximately 41 km west-southwest of Sarangani.
