5.0 magnitude earthquake reported close to Gazli, Uzbekistan on May 19

JONDOR DISTRICT, Bukhara Region — A 5.0 magnitude quake occurred near Gazli on Tuesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The USGS reported a tremor in the region at 20:40 UTC (01:40 local time). The epicenter was about 35 km west-northwest of Gazli, at a depth of 10 km.
