2-1 after drama in overtime against the Springfield Jr. Blues was enough for the Wisconsin Windigo to secure the top spot in the NAHL on Saturday, April 04, 2025 at Nelson Center.
Wisconsin’s Jackson Ernst scored the game-winning goal.
The Jr. Bues first took the lead in the middle of the third period, with a goal from Niko Laus, assisted by Jagur McClelland and Cruz Martin.
Zachary Cline tied it up 1-1 with a goal three minutes later, assisted by Wyatt Herres and Alexios Georgaklis. The game went to overtime.
In overtime, it took 4:38 before Jackson Ernst scored the game-winner for the team, assisted by John Halverson and Wyatt Herres.
With this win the Windigo have five straight victories.
