The IceRays took the lead late in the first period, with a goal from Cooper Conway. Colin Watson and Pier-Olivier Allard assisted.
Lucas Deeb scored early in the second period, assisted by Brent Litchard and Aidan Puley.
The Mudbugs took the lead within the first minute of the third period when Charlie Fink found the back of the net, assisted by David Ehrhard and Angel Lovecchio.
The Mudbugs increased the lead to 3-1 early in the third when Cole Hutchinson netted one, assisted by Charlie Fink and David Ehrhard.
Cole Hutchinson made it 4-1 with a goal one minute later, assisted by Andrew Seminara and Andrej Paricka.
