The Johnstown Tomahawks broke a tie game, winning 3-2 over the Maryland Black Bears at 1st Summit Arena on Saturday, April 04, 2025.
Johnstown’s Peter Morris scored the game-winning goal.
The Tomahawks started off strong and took the lead early in the game with Charlie Zetterkvist scoring in the first minute, assisted by Kalib Capecci and Markas Samenas.
Adam Csabi scored late in the second period, assisted by Nick Jarmain and Peter Morris.
Josh Frenette narrowed the gap to 2-1 with a goal early in the third period, assisted by Liam Doherty and Trey Hinton.
Josh Frenette also tied it up 2-2 with a goal two minutes later, assisted by Trey Hinton and Kareem El Bashir.
Peter Morris took the lead with a goal five minutes later, assisted by Adam Csabi.
