At 10 a.m. Wednesday, the National Hurricane Center released the final advisory for the post-tropical cyclone system. Hanna weakened and had devolved from a tropical storm into a post-tropical cyclone with sustained winds of 35 mph. Post Tropical Cyclone Hanna is in the Atlantic Ocean, 1,230 miles east of Bermuda and 980 miles west-southwest of the Azores. It is moving to the east at 5 mph, with maximum sustained winds of 35 mph.

“A turn toward the east-northeast is expected later today with an increase in forward speed on Thursday,” according to analysts.
