Update: Seismic activity on Nov. 9 – 5.0 magnitude earthquake close to Pacific-Antarctic Ridge registered

A 5.0 magnitude quake was recorded near Pacific-Antarctic Ridge Sunday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

It was reported that a tremor hit the region at 15:21 UTC (06:21 local time). The epicenter was situated of Pacific-Antarctic Ridge, at a depth of 10 km. Seismologists first reported it as a 4.9 event, but later upgraded it to 5.0.
