Update: Earthquake shakes region close to Ust’-Kamchatsk Staryy, Russia on July 14 – 5.0 magnitude registered

The U.S. Geological Survey reported that a 5.0 magnitude quake occurred close to Ust’-Kamchatsk Staryy Monday afternoon.

A tremor rattled the area at 06:28 UTC (17:28 local time). The earthquake’s epicenter was located about 168 km east-southeast of Ust’-Kamchatsk Staryy and occurred at a depth of 10 km.
