Update: Earthquake shakes region close to San Pedro, CA on July 4 – 2.5 magnitude recorded

Friday morning, a 2.5 magnitude quake was detected close to San Pedro, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor rattled at 10:21 a.m., with its epicenter positioned roughly 6 miles south-southeast of San Pedro and a depth of 4 miles.
