Update: Severe thunderstorm warning for Teller County likely to expire at 5:45 p.m.

The warning had been issued for Teller County.

“The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, small hail, gusty winds and heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 9 p.m. for central Colorado,” comments the National Weather Service.
